Winnie actually ran into my open apartment door when she was just a kitten back in 2014. I had never had a cat, but she chose me and that was that! I saved her life when she was sick with worms as a kitten, and she has been with me in Mississippi (born), Alabama, New York, Pennsylvania, and Missouri!! Such a well traveled cat!
