I rescued Tate in the Spring of 2010 while I was recovering from a silent stroke. He started waking me up during the night which alerted me to the fact that I had sleep apnea. Now he alerts before I have a dizzy spell so I can sit down before I fall. He has never been trained to do this - he just knows. He's very loving and protective.
