My preferred dog? Large, male, long-haired, and charismatic. And yet, I ended up with a small, female, terrier mix (complete with the wiry hair), though she is certainly charismatic. I’m so thankful she chose me, if not, I wouldn’t have one of the most loyal, strange, and intelligent best friends anyone could ask for
