Lord Beerus is named after the villian Sphinx cat in Dragon ball z. We let my husband name him as he was not keen on cats. Unfortunately, Beerus passed away in February 2022 due to imune issues. Beerus was very affectionate and loved cuddling up to our other cat Serena.
