Knox's mamma was rescued from a shelter in South Carolina where his mom was scheduled to be euthanized (while pregnant)! So some friends went and picked her up and she had puppies within the next week! They allowed us to take one of them, and we decided to name him after our favorite city, Knoxville (next dog will obviously be Nashville!).
