Grandma is a kitty I rescued on my first call as an animal control officer. She was only 3 weeks old and trapped in a wooden box on the side of the road (it was nailed shut). At 3 weeks old she had a nasal polyp (found out later), that made her meow sound like a grandma cat meow. So I jokingly called her grandma kitty & the name stuck 🥰
